The members of the Board of Worship are responsible for ensuring that First Lutheran offers God-pleasing Worship Services that encourage, feed, and challege all that attend them.

Responsibiites within the Board are distributed to many individuals and groups to encourage participation:

• Altar Guild
• Ushers
• Greeters
• Acolytes
• Lay Servers
• Lay Readers
• Choirs and musicians
• Chancel drama performers
• Children's chat leaders
• Audio-visual support, including audio recording of services and distribution of the recordings
• Maintenance of aids for the hard of hearing
• Coffee hour hosts, and monthly birthday celebrations
• Carillon programmer
• Offering Counters (led by the Assistant Financial Secretary)

Representatives from each of these groups work together as the Board to coordinate church services.
