Event Space Rental in Concord, CA

Need a spacious area to gather with your local community group, or to host a special event? We welcome you to our indoor and outdoor areas for groups of all sizes and events of all kinds.

Rental and Event Types

Events do not need to be religious in nature, but should be in line with the mission of First Lutheran. You’re welcome to decorate the space to match your occasion and to work with our rental coordinator to outfit it to your unique event’s needs.

Single-day events such as
    
  • Birthdays, Anniversaries

  • Quinceañeras

  • Family reunions

  • First communion celebrations

  • Family Lunar New Year celebration

  • Conferences or seminars

  • Workshops or training sessions

  • Fundraising event

  • Community event

  • Award or graduation ceremony

Long-term rentals such as
    
  • Weekly support groups
    such as Al-Anon

  • Other churches who need a meeting place, church plants, or satellite locations

  • Hobby or community organizations

  • Educational classes, professional training courses, language and ESL

  • Non-profit and parachurch organizations

The Multipurpose Building

Our most spacious and popular room for large events! A versatile gymnasium setting that can be converted for just about any occasion and group size.

  • Access to a commercial kitchen area for food preparation on the day of your event. Kitchen is attached directly to the room and has a large pass-through window into the room for easy serving to guests.

  • Wood floors, vaulted gym ceilings

  • Access to restrooms

  • Complimentary tables and chairs, 2 children's tables

  • Complimentary Wifi

  • Sound system and portable 60” flatscreen TV

  • Small portable stage

Generally Available for Scheduling at

  • After 6pm Monday through Friday (Outside of preschool business hours.)

  • After 1pm on Sunday

The Education Room

An intimate and cozy indoor space with bookshelf-lined walls, exposed wooden beams, and plenty of natural light coming in from a full wall of windows.

The Back Patio

Outdoor patio area tucked in by large shady trees, green hedges, and grass-framed sidewalks.

  • Extra wide, brick serving station with a small grill.

Rental Costs & Policies

 

Rental costs vary considerably, but most one-day rentals cost between $750-1200. Long term rentals are offered at a lower price per day but depend on the tenant’s needs. Please contact our rentals coordinator, Mark Meyer at rentals@flcconcord.org for a quote for your event.  

 

Policies to keep in mind:  

  • Preliminary payment is due no later than one week prior to the event. After your event, you will receive an additional invoice for any additional custodial hours incurred for your event.

  • All facility requirements and set-up requests must be arranged with the office no later than two weeks prior to your event. 

  • An insurance certificate identifying First Lutheran as an additional insured party on the date of the event is required one week in advance.

  • Some amenities require an additional fee

  • It is at First Lutheran Church & Preschool’s discretion to decline a rental if there is a conflict for any reason. 

  • Alcohol is not permitted for rentals.
